Transition. People in the middle of two ends. The road. Going mad. Capturing lightening in a bottle then letting it out. Grasping for meaning in the dark while looking for direction in the blinding light. Uncertainty. And uncertainty. And in the end, putting your head on the soft pillow.
Currently, I prefer the possibility of reality capture and the economy that presents itself in digital photography and video. I can be unconcerned with how much footage I shoot at any given time. This is particularly useful to me as I almost always use non-actors in my work. They usually need the extra time and space, a luxury of the digital age. I love the spontaneity of unscripted action.
I think with my camera and tell the brain to relax back home.
